In response to the now suspended “Burn a Koran Day”, two US Churches will be holding readings of the Koran. Now some more non-Muslims have joined the dhimmi dance, as I have been notified of a “Wear Hijab on 9/11, Defy “Burn a Quran Day” Facebook page. A page which has approximately 6000 members. There are a lot of Muslim members, who of course love the support of the purposely blind to the threat of Islam crowd. But there are also a lot of non-Muslims supporting the page, which was started by a non-Muslim woman. Islam the great divider, strikes again.

Join us! If you are also horrified by the recent outrageous fear mongering of the right wing against American Muslims then here is a way to push back. I am not a Muslim but I plan to wear the hijab on 9/11 as a gesture to American Muslims that they are full citizens of this country and deserve the same rights as the rest of us. Concerned men might wear skull caps in solidarity with us women.

Yes, it will take some courage to make this gesture. However, I remembered how the people in Billings, Montana put menorahs in their windows to protest the anti-Semitic activities of the KKK in their town.

Another wave of anti-Semitism is sweeping our nation, this time against Muslims. Let’s stand up and stand out to demonstrate that not all Americans are bigots.

1. Islam is not a left vs right issue. It is a threat to all of us.

2. Muslims being citizens does not mean they are loyal to America over Sharia Law.

3. If anything can be compared to a my way only ideology, like the KKK it is Islam, which has a profound hatred of Jews.

4. Jews were no threat to America, but Muslims and their Sharia movement certainly are. So your comparison is invalid. Using Charell’s logic, the Jews were bigots for opposing Nazism.

Do you know what islam teaches about women? Do you know that women are stoned for adultry? Do you know that many of these "adultry" cases are actually rapes that could not be proven in court because there were not 4 male witnesses (as the koran demands.) Do you know that mohammed, known to muslims as the perfect man, raided villages, killed the men, and took the women and children as slaves? Do you know that muslim slave traders were largely responsible for US slavery?
