While United States Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, angsts about returning US military veterans being potential domestic terrorists, the wide open border with Mexico continues to grow as a possible source of Islamic terrorists crossing the southern border and becoming a deadly threat to US citizens.
Janet Napolitano, former Governor of Arizona, was known throughout the state for her prolific and embarassing gaffes --nevertheless this outrageous DHS report, reaches a new rock bottom low and has caused many to call for the her resignation.
In a three month test period, unmanned drones have found 853,000 people illegally crossing the USA/Mexican border. It is estimated that 500,000 people illegally enter the USA each year. The majority of these illegal aliens are Hispanic (see chart) but the incidence of muslims looking to cross illegally into the United States is escalating. Current Border Patrol agents clearly can't apprehend all of these people (not to mention those threatening the USA's security from the Mexican drug cartels) despite having lowered requirements in order to meet the planned increase in agent numbers.
Regardless of 74% of US citizens wanting their borders secured, Napolitano and the Obama administration are busy drooling over (Hispanic) illegal aliens future votes, thus they purposely allow this border to remain open to all who wish to illegally enter the United States.
It is way past time to secure the USA southern border or instead of apologizing to veterans for accusing them of being terrorists -- Napolitano will be apologizing to the American people for failing to prevent another act of Islamic Jihad **
**Postscript - I suppose that's too much to ask from someone who has renamed terrorism with the politically correct - obfuscating term: man caused disasters.

Officials said that in each instance the vessel’s destination was Nicaragua’s coast as a stopover to continue toward the United States.

At dawn today Colombian authorities intercepted another vessel transporting 21 illegal aliens near San Andres Is., on the Caribbean. The Colombian flag “Antonita” was headed toward Nicaraguan shores and aboard were
eight Somalis, six Eritreans, one Ethiopian and six Bangladeshis
. Their two Colombian smugglers were also arrested.
