WHERE ARE TERRRORISTS SAFE?

As we approach the third anniversary of the 7/7/05 bombings and reflect upon the security changes that (should) make Britain an even safer place to live - one is startled by the daily news articles that speak to the opposite occurring. In fact one could say that terrorists could and do live quite safely in the Nu-UK.

The British people feel that whilst they are being monitored by CCTV cameras  -seemingly invading nearly every facet of daily life- that the real threats - the muslim terrorists/prisoners are being handled with kid gloves and given preferential treatments. The most recent case of  Abu Qatada, a convicted terrorist, whose rights to be free on bail and of avoiding deportation back to his homeland of Jordan on the CHANCE that he may receive punishment there, has clearly placed his comfort and safety as a higher priority than that of the British people. To add insult to injury the intended victims of his violence, the British people, are then forced to pay thousands of pounds for this man's food, shelter, and all living expenses - including a bonus for his "bad back":

"Abu Qatada is to receive almost £8,000 a year in benefits because he has a bad back. The fanatical cleric, said to be Osama Bin Laden’s ambassador in Europe, will get £150 a week of taxpayer’s cash after being released from jail last week. He was granted the incapacity benefit because his condition makes him unfit to work – even though a curfew allows him out of his home for only two hours a day, meaning it would be almost impossible for him to get a job. Qatada left Long Lartin prison in Worcestershire after the Appeal Court blocked his deportation to Jordan. He is now living in an £800,000 four-bedroom Edwardian semi in a tree-lined street in West London. His incapacity allowance will push the family’s total annual handouts to more than £50,000. His wife has been claiming £45,000 a year in child benefit, income support, housing benefit and council tax credit for the past four years.....Taxpayers are also footing an estimated £500,000 a year bill to provide round-the-clock surveillance on Qatada, who has been described by a judges as a ‘truly dangerous individual’.
He arrived in Britain 14 years ago on a forged passport and was granted asylum the following year."

So how does Qatada show his gratitude for the hard working taxpayers generosity?  Why by immediately releasing a book telling muslims to commit terrorist attacks against the "non-believers"- Western nations. Thus is the sham of the ludicrous British judicial system which in conjunction with the EU Human Rights laws has placed the perpetrator (particularly if he/she is a muslim) with greater value than the victims. To add to the farce - Qatada was warned by judge to not meet with Osama Bin Laden.

That brings us to the next question.  What IF Osama bin Laden were to be found in Great Britain - what kind of life and punishment would he receive? The below article, though a bit "tongue in cheek" aptly spells out Osama's likely fate in the UK:

OSAMA WOULD BE SAFE IN THE UK

Published: 24 Jun 2008

POOR old Osama bin Laden, scuttling around the war-torn Afghan mountains to avoid death or capture.

He must find those stinking caves bad for his health. And where does a chap go for a beard trim or a clean set of robes?

But hope is on the horizon for the world’s most wanted terrorist.

There’s one place on Earth where he would be perfectly safe. Britain.

Here, in the land where we throw nobody out, Bin Laden has every chance of ending his days amid peace and plenty.

His mate and fellow 9/11 monster Abu Qatada has been freed from detention by our judges on human rights grounds. He spent his time behind bars writing a book calling for British troops to be killed.

One of Qatada’s bail conditions is that he must not meet Bin Laden.

Comfy

But suppose Osama slipped in through Heathrow, as many do, without being spotted?

Suppose cops find him paying a visit to his old chum Qatada

We could hold him without charge for 42 days, yes.

But what hard evidence could we produce to put him in court and convict him?

Can we really prove it is him on those grainy videos ranting against the West?

When his 42-day detention ended, the Human Rights Act would stop us deporting him to the United States, or his native Saudi Arabia, or even Pakistan, as they all have the death penalty.

Pesky human rights campaigner Shami Chakrabarti would doubtless be on the case. Bin Laden would demand as his brief Abu Hamza’s Muslim lady lawyer Mudassar Arani, whose firm has pocketed £3.5million from the taxpayer to defend terror suspects.

In no time Osama would be installed in a large and comfy free house and showered with benefits.

Taxpayers would have to provide him with round-the-clock protection.

The NHS would turf some poor old chap out of his hospital bed to make way for sickly Bin Laden to be given priority treatment.

Vast compensation for unlawful arrest would set him up nicely for a life of leisure.

He’d end up on Question Time. He could try his luck as another dancing Muslim on Britain’s Got Talent.

Maybe Celebrity Big Brother would beckon.

Perhaps tea at No10. Or a peerage.

Pray silence for Lord Bin Laden of Tora Bora.

You think I’m joking?

Abu Qatada, a dangerous enemy of our nation, is living in luxury in an £800,000 house paid for by you and me.

He is being given £150 a week sick benefit because he says he can’t work because of a bad back. How did he injure it? Hauling explosives around?

Qatada’s wife pockets £45,000 of our money every year in handouts.

The bill for keeping tabs on him now he’s free will be £500,000 a year.

While Labour have been strutting their stuff about 42-day detention, the reality of the situation could not be clearer. Our courts, our laws, our way of life have been reduced to a farce by Labour’s folly of embracing EU human rights legislation. The result is that Abu Qatada — and Bin Laden too, should he come here — have all the rights in the world. The rest of us can do nothing about it.

15 MUSLIM CHILD BRIDES USED AS PAYMENT FOR DEATH OF DOG

How many times has the Western World been chastised, denounced as Islamophobic and threatened by muslims, for saying that the muslim religion is "soft on pedophilia"? If this taboo subject, abhorred by ALL Western nations, has no place in Islam then why are little girls - ages between 3 - 10 years old - considered old enough to be bartered (for a dead dog) as marriageable =  brides??

Whereas it is commendable that some government officials, in Pakistan, are voicing their outrage-- the origination of the source of the mindset that foments much of the muslim population to consider the use of little girls (referred to in article as "ladies") as chattel capable of performing "wifely" duties - though "unspeakable" is clear.

15 CHILD BRIDES USED TO SETTLE PAKISTAN FEUD

It started with a dead dog, escalated into a tit-for-tat tribal war, and has now reached a grotesque climax with the exchange of 15 child brides.

Pakistani human rights activists are outraged at reports that a long-running blood feud in a remote corner of western Baluchistan province has been resolved by the handing over of 15 girls, aged between three and 10, for marriage.

"There has to be action," said Asma Jahangir, a leading rights campaigner. "These people who force others to sell their daughters must be sent to prison."

The new government in Islamabad, led by the party of the late Benazir Bhutto, has promised to act. "We will not allow young girls to be traded like this," said the information minister, Sherry Rehman. "The culprits who tried to do this will be arrested. The orders have been given."

But Jahangir said those orders had not been acted upon. "There is a dysfunction in the whole system. They are not listening to the government," she said. "We need to see them being more effective than just rhetoric."

Vanni, an ancient tribal practice in which feuding clans settle their differences by exchanging women for marriage, is illegal in Pakistan. In 2004 the Sindh high court outlawed all such "parallel justice" systems. But the writ of government is weak in rural areas, and local police often turn a blind eye.

The current controversy started with a row over a dog, said Muhammad Paryal Marri, a researcher in northern Sindh for the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan.

A dog owned by one tribe, the Chakranis, was shot dead because it strayed too close to a well controlled by their rivals, the Qalandaris. In revenge the Chakranis shot a donkey belonging to the other side. A ferocious bout of tit-for-tat killings ensued in which 19 people, including five women, were killed.

The fighting ended in 2002 when Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti - a rebellious tribal chieftain who was later killed by the Pakistan army - brought the two sides together. Bugti ordered the Chakranis to hand over 15 child brides in compensation; at a jirga, or tribal council. Last Friday they finally agreed to make good on that promise, said Marri.

"They agreed to pay some money and exchange the ladies," he said.

Such brutal traditions have only come to light for a broader public in the past decade, thanks to activism by human rights groups and publicity from local media.

"Barbarity in the name of tradition," declared the English-langauge newspaper Dawn earlier this week in a scathing editorial against the "medieval mindset that dominates many sections of our society".

But, despite previous shows of similar anger, official action has lagged far behind. "The government is unwilling to use its authority to protect women. It will find any excuse," said Jahangir.

MOVIE PROPAGANDA AT ITS WORST

With the third anniversary of the horrific 7/7 London bombings in the near future what does the movie industry plan to show in it's first movie commemorating this act of Islamic terrorism against the innocent British people? Perhaps telling us the stories of some of the victims...or how their families are coping with the violent and tragic loss of loved ones?

NO!

By premiering a fictional movie about the shooting of an innocent muslim man by Metropolitan Police in the wake of the outrage about the bombings.  Islamophobia with a gun??

Needless to say the families of the victims of the 7/7 bombings are incredulous at the insensitivity shown to them.  The movie producers say they didn't mean to offend - (after all what better way to show the world the pain of terrorism then to make a muslim man the victim and to dwell on muslim hurt feelings).

Let's hope in the tradition of the recent box office flops such as Rendition and Lions for Lambs that the British people, like the Americans, will turn their backs and close their wallets to such blatent propaganda.

Bombing victims outraged over third anniversary premiere date for 7/7 terror attack movie about innocent Muslim man being shot dead

Families of those killed by the 7 July bombings today expressed shock at the "insensitive" timing of the premiere and said they knew nothing of what is the first movie based on the attacks.

Shoot On Sight is to be premiered in London on the third anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

With a cast including Brian Cox and Greta Scacchi, the film is a fictionalised account of the killing of an innocent young Muslim man by the Metropolitan Police in the wake of the outrage.

Tube terror: A scene from Shoot On Sight, a fictionalised account of the killing of an innocent young Muslim by the Metropolitan Police

The real incident killed 52 people as well as the four bombers. Innocent Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes was shot dead by police in a later incident.

But Lisa Cassidy, 28, of Finsbury Park, whose 22-year-old brother Ciaran died at Russell Square, condemned the project.

"Are we going to get to see this beforehand? We want to know exactly what this film is about and what they are portraying. I think it is completely insensitive to release it on July 7 - they are just trying to make money and raise publicity."

Richard Deer, 31, lost his Polish girlfriend Karolina Gluck, 29, at Russell Square. He said: "I think it would have been nice if out of respect they had arranged a way the families could see it first. For some of the families it is still very, very raw.

"I think for this kind of film that is going to be on the world stage it is very insensitive not to tell us and to show it on July 7. We are all at different stages and dealing with it in a different ways."

Jean Charles de Menezes

A spokesman for the Jean Charles de Menezes Family Campaign, Justice4Jean said: "I think it is good that they are exploring the role of the police."

However Jag Mundhra, the Indian Hindu director who was living in London at the time, said the aim of the film was not to offend.

The story is told from the perspective of a Muslim police officer - played by Naseeruddin Shah - with a white wife and children who are well integrated into British society until "something happens and there is this ripple effect in communities that were otherwise co-existing."

It stemmed from Mundhra's personal experience of the consequences of the 7 July attacks. "I couldn't stop a taxi after the bombings because of the way I looked," he said.

"Then I started noticing that on television suddenly Scotland Yard was represented by a Muslim police officer [Tarique Ghaffur]. I knew it was because the way they wanted to tell the Muslim community 'look, we have a Muslim police officer.'

"Then I could see that if I sat on an Underground train everyone looked at you and moved away. I could feel the fear."

The aim of the film was to address these issues. "I wanted to see the point of view of a shooter who had to pull the trigger and shot the wrong guy. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

"I knew that it might create some controversy but I thought the issue was important enough to not fear controversy. Everyone says the wounds are still raw. But facing up to a situation is more cathartic than hiding from it."

Mundhra said he spoke to Assistant Commissioner Ghaffur before making the film and also won the cooperation of the Regent's Park mosque where some of the filming took place. The bombings themselves are not represented as the film is based on the aftermath.

The film is being released in the UK on 11 July with the premiere benefiting Flame, a charity for the education of women in Asian communities, and in America and India. It is being sold at this week's Cannes Film Festival, where there has been strong interest from the Middle East and Africa.

THE POPULATION JIHAD

Whilst the threat of Islamist terrorism takes up much of the Western world's attention, dialogue, security preparedness and fears the true threat of Islam comes from a mass of people whose polygamous life style is conducive to massive overpopulation. While our Western leaders ponder what newer bigger and better safety measures can be installed - placing CC cameras in every possible location to document our mundane daily activities and pull bottles of "threatening" hand creme from our airport luggage -  these same leaders stand with our borders wide open and encourage the full scale muslim colonization of our countries.

Indeed, the greatest threat, as the below article states, is the consistent drum beat of muslim immigration into the Western countries aided and abeted by our politicians and leaders lefty policies of multiculturalism and of extended family reunification. At no other time in history has it been easier and more comforatable for muslims to enter the UK (and other Western countries) and immediately partake of the taxpayer paid social benefits. In fact, multiculturalism has actually place muslims in a position of receiving preferential treatment over and above the indigenous population.(a few examples here , here , here )The British, and other Western countries, are expected to bow down and worship at the altar of multiculturalism all whilst sacrificing British/Western culture and traditions at this same altar.  Hand in hand with multiculturalism came the perpetually overused club of racism - thus anyone who speaks out against muslim over-immigration is immediately silenced and pilloried with accusations of being "racist". It's become un-politically correct to speak about the muslim colonisation happening right under our "stiff upper lips".

Finally an author has the courage to speak and write what is actually occurring - along with warnings that such overpopulation by the muslims will most definitely lead to the Isalmisation of Europe/West. Too many Westerners bought into the "
zero population growth" particularly popular back in the 1970s. Westerners were made to feel it was our duty to lessen the death march of overpopulation - to do our part for the world.  Yes - the majority of us did -- and now the consequences are that other regions, particularly the Middle East, continued to overpopulate whilst the Western world population stagnated or dwindled.  Now the same lefty leaders and university elites, that guilted us into having smaller families, tell us that we "need" rampant immigration to survive. Unfortunately, it is clear that our traditions and cultures will NOT survive.

The looming question is whether or not it is the obligation of the West to absorb the world's poor - can we afford to do so both culturally and economically?

The even more ominous stark reality is it appears we no longer are given a choice.

The population explosion on Europe’s doorstep

The Duke of Edinburgh had a point when he warned of overpopulation. The countries growing fastest are our Islamic neighbours, says a novelist

A group of babies

In a televised interview with Sir Trevor McDonald last week, the Duke of Edinburgh cited “overpopulation” as the prime source of escalating food prices. Another gaffe! “Overpopulation” dropped out of usage in the 1970s, and the deluded old coot doesn’t seem to realise that the term is passé. Or is it?

Helping to make “overpopulation” a buzz word of his era, Paul Ehrlich observed in his 1968 bestseller The Population Bomb that by 8000BC it had taken the human race about 1m years to double in number. Yet when he published his alarmist book, world population was 3.5 billion, and the doubling time was down to 35 years.

“If growth continued at that rate for about 900 years, there would be some 60 million billion people on the face of the Earth,” he warned. “This is about 100 persons for each square yard of the Earth’s surface, land and sea.”

Well, what a load of hooey. (Even Ehrlich then conceded that he was being fanciful.) According to current United Nations projections, world population is expected to reach 9.2 billion by 2050, peaking soon afterward at only 9.8 billion.

Expectations colour perception. Compared with the idea of sharing one square yard with 99 of our closest friends, a world inhabited by “only” 9.8 billion people seems perfectly pleasant. Yet that is nearly half again as much company as we already enjoy. Try getting into a small lift with nine other passengers and then asking “only” five more to join you. Try telling a host who’s preparing a dinner for 10 that you’ve just invited “only” five more guests, and you’ll probably get a pie in the face.

Most of us who remember Ehrlich’s book have long since dismissed it for stirring hysteria. Yet in some respects he was almost right: he predicted that world population would double in 35 years, and in 40 years it has indeed almost doubled – from 3.5 billion to 6.7 billion in 2007. So why does Prince Philip’s invocation of “overpopulation” seem so anachronistic, so unfashionable?

Because the term no longer applies to the West. In the 1960s the threat of “overpopulation” applied to virtually every country in the world, all of whose populations were expanding – if at different rates. From 1971, however, western fertility plummeted. Europe has been underreproducing for decades: its total fertility rate (TFR) – the average number of children a woman bears in her lifetime – is 1.5, well below the 2.1 required to replace the people already here.

Meanwhile, with a current TFR of 2.9 , the population of poorer nations keeps rising. Virtually all of the 2.5 billion extra people on our guest list will arrive in the Third World (aka “undeveloped”, “underdeveloped” or “developing” nations, or recently “the south” – when people keep shifting their terminology, be sure that there’s something politically scary in the vicinity).

Now viewed as a judgmental word that applies exclusively to nonwestern countries, “overpopulation” has become racially, religiously and ethnically sticky, and thus totally uncool. For decades no one in the population field has touched the word “overpopulation” with a bargepole.

It’s time to come clean: I am a demography junkie. My perverse obsession began when I was 16, when I spent a full semester of high school researching population growth. I revisited the fascination in my fourth novel, Game Control. In what I hope is a wicked satire, a demographic zealot plans to nip runaway population growth in the bud by murdering two billion people overnight. The premise may sound outlandish but the nonfiction underpinnings of the text were carefully researched. Furthermore, the graph of human population through the ages – meandering virtually horizontal at the bottom of the page for hundreds of thousands of years and then spiking almost vertically over the past century like a polygraph needle when the subject tells a whopper – illustrates that, in population biology, fact itself is more outlandish than anything I might make up.

Why have I been entranced by population, of all things? I have my theories. I grew up in a religious, left-leaning American household that tyrannised my childhood with guilt. Before we ate, we had to pray for hungry Chinese peasants, and then we had to clean our plates for the starving Armenians (long dead, but no one told me). Everything nice that we had we were supposed to feel bad about; and I was required to give 10 cents of my 25c weekly allowance (that’s about 12p) to charity. So I think I resented all these poor people for whom I was supposed to feel sorry. They were a burden. Then I discovered that there were going to be more and more of them. Just because they had large families, I was going to have to feel even worse and give away more of my allowance.

In adulthood I’ve come to appreciate how many other problems are fuelled by population growth, from environmental degradation to disease. All roads lead to demography. Besides, there’s nothing boring about statistics if you have an imagination and some sense of what they mean.

My interest was reignited in 2003 by an article in Population and Development Review. The journal’s editor, Paul Demeny, compared the population projections for Yemen – a Muslim country about the size of France – and Russia, which is 30 times bigger. In 1950 Russia had 103m people, Yemen 4.3m – meaning there were 24 Russians for every Yemeni. By 2000 Russia had 145m people, and Yemen 17.5m – that’s about eight Russians for every Yemeni. Proportionally, a few more Yemenis; no big deal.

Alas, Russian men drink too much. Their life expectancy is 60. Worse, Russian women are not having many babies: by 2000 Russia’s total fertility rate was a miserable 1.2. Demeny revealed that even though UN figures assumed Russian fertility would rise by 50% – awfully optimistic – the country’s population in 2050 was still expected to contract back to 1950 levels of about 104m. Meanwhile, although UN figures also assumed that fertility in Yemen would fall by half, Yemen’s population in 2050 was expected to rise to 102m.

That’s right: in a little more than 40 years, the population of Russia could be met and overtaken by that of Yemen. Which has only 3% arable land and is mostly desert.

If Russia versus Yemen is an extreme case, the broader picture is equally sobering. Demeny went on to compare the populations of 25 European nations to the 25 nations in what he called Europe’s “southern hinterland”: the Asian and north African countries surrounding this continent. Check out the UN population projections in 2000 (see panel).

Honey, I shrunk the continent: Europe is contracting. On the other hand, over the course of only 100 years north Africa, western Asia and the Middle East are set to multiply eightfold. Throw into the mix the fact that all those countries are Muslim, and politically you have one sizzling hot potato.

Why should any of this matter to us? Well, let’s count the ways:

Immigration Legal or illegal, we haven’t seen anything yet. If we add in all of Africa – from which significant numbers emigrate to Europe – we can expect by 2050 to have 2.7 billion relatively poor, heavily unemployed and perhaps increasingly desperate people on Europe’s doorstep.

Since most of them cannot afford a ticket on American Airlines, they will migrate to wealthy countries nearby to which they can swim, walk or ride by stowing away on a lorry. And never mind protecting European borders or tightening the laws. Desperate people are resourceful people; just because you’re poor doesn’t mean you’re not smart.

Food and fuel pricesThe recent spikes in both have admittedly been fed by a variety of factors, but one of them is demand. That demand will keep rising with increased population, and so will prices.

Climate change The addition of three billion people, many of whom may aspire to a middle-class western lifestyle, will turn feeble carbon-reduction efforts – recycling yoghurt pots, biking to work – into a joke. If you care about green issues, ipso facto you should care about population.

Political instability and reduced social cohesion Inexorably high immigration rates from neighbouring Muslim countries are likely to transform the ethnic and religious composition of this continent. Happily, it may soon be possible to get an excellent falafel on any street corner in Europe. But if younger generations in countries such as Egypt continue to become more fundamentalist and more politically radicalised than their parents, terrorism could rise.

WaterThere isn’t enough of it. In his level-headed book How Many People Can the Earth Support?, Professor Joel Cohen identifies water as the ultimate limiting factor on human population. Even if it were evenly distributed throughout the world – which it is not – the human race would be expected to run out of fresh water when the global population reached about nine billion – a figure we are now set substantially to exceed.

Power Europe initially rose to political and military dominance in tandem with a rising population. With a dropping population, its influence will probably wane.

Is this little more than racist, xenophobic claptrap? I don’t think so. Current population levels are facts. Population projections are mathematical extrapolations from facts. Certainly, you can fiddle with the assumptions underlying the projections and come up with wildly different numbers, and historically the accuracy of demographic prediction has been pretty dismal. (Case in point: only four years after Demeny published his comparison of Yemen and Russia, the UN nearly halved its projected 2050 population for Yemen from 102m to 58m. Yet, Demeny tells me, “there are many more Yemens”: the population of Egypt will exceed Russia’s well before 2050.)

Numbers do not have prejudices. Europe is dwindling. Its immediate Muslim neighbours are still having large families, and their populations are continuing to grow. Make of that what you will. It is not BNP propaganda; it’s just the way things are.

The Duke of Edinburgh may not have employed the trendiest vocabulary but he’s not suffering from undiagnosed dementia. Whatever you call it, the threat of overpopulation is back and here to stay – because it never really went away. This could be a good time to start learning Arabic.

MUSLIMS URGE BOYCOTT OF CHELSEA TOUR DUE TO ISRAELI COACH & PLAYER

Members of the Religion of Peace - who so often cry out about discrimination via  bogus claims of "Islamophobia" have NO problem with bold faced racism in the form of anti-semitism.

Of course the Quran is the source of the "holy" attitude of muslims towards Jews - where the Jews are referred to as
apes and pigs. The purely anti-semitic book, the Quran, normalizes the hatred of Jews for muslims - thus this attitude is prevalent in muslim countries.

In order for the Jihad to be successful - Israel must be eradicted.  The large muslim population of Europe is seen as a "Trojan Horse" and is achieving it's goal of making anti-semitism acceptable in Europe:

"Arab and Muslim antisemitism is the Trojan Horse designed to undermine the West's belief in its own values. Islam is at present winning this war because Europe is cooperating - because of its lust for oil, because of electoral considerations with the increased Muslim populations in their countries, because of past colonialist "sins" and because of the naive belief that the "weak" is always right. But the West must not sacrifice Israel on any altar of appeasement. "

One wonders where all the lefties are when it comes to overt racism against Jews in Europe -- oops - why they are with the muslims= Overt anti-semitism has prevented more than
one Jewish speaker from coming to the UK. Britain has become the center for European anti-semitism. (see link below) Anti-semitism at British universites was so rampant that a government rule against it was instituted.

So the below article is about more than just a bunch of idiotic muslims trying to bully a third world country for allowing a Jewish coach and player to enter into Malaysia - it is further proof that muslim colonization of Europe, and more specifically the UK, has inflicted muslim's hatred of Jews into Western Countries and into all aspects of our lives  - including our sports.

KUALA LUMPUR - MUSLIM leaders on Sunday urged Malaysians to boycott a visit by English football giants Chelsea in protest at the move to let their Israeli coach and defender into the country.

Spokesman Mohamad Azmi Abdul Hamid said the coalition of 21 Muslim groups would hold a mass protest at the tour match if the government did not bar coach Avram Grant and player Tal Ben Haim.

'Malaysians should boycott the match,' Mohamad Azmi said. 'We should unite with the Palestinian people and fight for an independent homeland for them.' Malaysia does not have diplomatic ties with Israel and its citizens must obtain special permission to travel here.

On Friday, the group submitted a memorandum to the home ministry opposing the government's decision to allow the Israeli pair into the country.

'The reason for the travel ban to Malaysia is to isolate Israel which is a rogue state. If the Israeli footballers are allowed in, the government will be considered as being insensitive to the Palestinian people,' Mohamad Azmi said.

He warned that if Grant and Ben Haim are allowed into Malaysia, the coalition would picket Chelsea's match against a Malaysian team on July 29.

'Definitely, we will mobilise the public and hold a protest outside the stadium,' he said.

Foreign Minister Rais Yatim has confirmed Malaysia had no 'objections' to admitting the two, allaying fears that Chelsea may cancel the visit.

'They are a sports team with two Israeli members. We don't see it as something wrong,' he said.

The English title contenders are among the most popular teams in Malaysia, where sports fans avidly follow the Premier League on satellite television.

Chelsea are also planning to play in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou on July 23 on their pre-season Asian tour.

Archbishop of Canterbury says Middle East Christians are suffering persecution because of 'American global project'

Last updated at 12:52pm on 17th April 2008

Rowan Williams

Claims: Rowan Williams says many Christians have fled their homes in the Holy Land

Christians in the Middle East are facing persecution because of British and American foreign policy, the Archbishop of Canterbury will claim today.

Dr Rowan Williams will say that many Christians have been forced to flee their homes in the Holy Land because of 'appalling pressure' from extremist Islamic groups.

And he will warn that historic communities risk becoming mere 'museum pieces' in the 'theme park' Middle East because of the military policies of the West.

During an appearance in London yesterday, he said there was a risk that the region could become a "monochrome" area dominated by an "unfriendly" form of Islam.

Indigenous Christian groups were increasingly being seen as a 'foreign and aggressive' presence, he added.

The Archbishop will make the comments in a speech at Westminster Cathedral later today.

He will say that historically Christians have played a leading role in social, cultural and intellectual change in the Middle East.

But historic communities now risked becoming mere 'museum pieces' in a 'theme park' region as a result of persecution.

In part this was due to an extremist form of Islam filling the void left following the peak of Arab nationalism, the head of the Church of England will claim.

But he also blames the role of Western governments.

Dr Williams will say: 'Indigenous Christian community throughout the region have suffered from being associated with the American global project, and indeed the British global project as part of the American global project.'

He cites a recent visit to Syria in which he met some of the half million refugees who had fled Iraq since 2003.

Scroll down for more...

Conflict: Blood stains the ground after an attack in Jerusalem. The Archbishop warned many Christians in the region have been exposed to violence because of Western foreign policy

Dr Williams added: 'The military policies of the West in the last few years have firmly cemented in a great deal of the Middle East the notion that Christianity is a foreign, aggressive and Western presence.

'I regret it is a real tragedy that this ongoing crisis has yet to be the focus of policy declarations, or indeed recognised by some of our Western governments.'

He also calls on Christians around the world to focus on the crisis and said Government needed to pay attention to the worsening situation.

Speaking yesterday, he said: “There is an urgent need for people in the UK to wake up to the fact that Christians in the Middle East are living through a time of change more dramatic and more costly than anything that has been seen for a thousand years and more.'

He went on to highlight the 'tragic situation' of Christian refugees from Iraq and the 'quiet but numerically huge exodus of Christians' - particularly educated Christians - out of the entire Middle East region.

'The remaining Christian communities are left exposed to violence or extremism in many countries, and the societies they live in are deprived of some of their most creative and resourceful citizens,' he added.

It seems to me that instead of blaming the MUSLIMS/ISLAM PERSECUTORS 100% for the torment of Christians in the Middle East - he somehow wants to temper this blame by using USA & UK foreign policy as the real underlying problem.  Dr. Rowan is singing with the EU dhimmi choir as he tells us if it wasn't for that nasty (Christian) foreign policy - then muslims would love Christians and we would be building towering cathedrals in Tehran.  Perhaps he can enlighten me as to where the Islamic countries have not been "monochrome" all along - where they have welcomed Christians?? Dr Rowan is just another apologist for the Religion of Violence (oops I mean Peace) - making excuses for muslim maniacal behaviours.

I suppose I could applaud him for at least pointing a bobbing finger at the "extremist" muslims for Middle East violence against Christians - even if his attempts are schizophrenic. The Archbishop just can't bring himself to stick to the blatant truth. Nor does he discuss the overt lack of acceptance by muslims for Christians (regardless of foreign policies) - - certainly not now or ever -perhaps he should check the Quran. When dealing with Christians, Islamic countries have never even remotely come close to  the knee bent pandering and absurd sensitivity shown to muslims in UK - we (Christian or otherwise) are expected to virtually twist ourselves into pretzels rather than say, write or do anything that muslims may find offensive.  The idea that if we keep being understanding and sycophants to muslims they will eventually be nice to us- IS NOT NOR WILL IT EVER WORK.

IF the people of the UK have not "woken up" to the plight of Christians, in the Middle East, perhaps it is due to them being so focused on trying to retain their British identity, culture, mores, traditions, religion and language as they suffer the Muslim global project of colonization of Great Britain.

NO CHURCHES IN SAUDI ARABIA UNLESS POPE & ALL CHRISTIANS RECOGNIZE MOHAMMED

The below article is a good representation of how muslims view Christianity and believe that it should be and is subservient to Islam. Only if all Christians recognize and accept Mohammed as a prophet; do many Saudi feel that a Christian Church would be allowed to be built there.

In fact these "mediators" don't even acknowledge that there are Christians living in Saudi Arabia - except for a few "transients" and separates the ability to practice ones NON muslim religion from human rights.

So the same arguments used by muslims, throughout the Western world, to facilitate the building of hundreds of Saudi financed mosques and mega-mosques are hypocritically discounted when Christianity/Christians seeks to become accessible and visible in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia: No churches unless prophet Mohammed recognised, says expert

Riyadh: March 29, 2008.

No churches should be permitted in Saudi Arabia, unless Pope Benedict XVI recognised the prophet Mohammed, according to a Middle East expert.

While Saudi mediators are working with the Vatican on negotiations to allow places of religious worship, some experts believe it will not occur without this recognition.

Anwar Ashiqi, president of the Saudi centre for Middle East strategic studies, endorsed this view in an interview on the site of Arab satellite TV network, al-Arabiya on Thursday.

"I haven taken part in several meetings related to Islamic-Christian dialogue and there have been negotiations on this issue," he said.

"It would be possible to launch official negotiations to construct a church in Saudi Arabia only after the Pope and all the Christian churches recognise the prophet Mohammed."

"If they don`t recognise him as a prophet, how can we have a church in the Saudi kingdom?"

Ashiqi`s comments came after a declaration launched by the papal nuncio of the Persian Gulf, the archbishop Mounged El-Hachem, at the opening of the first Catholic church in Qatar last week.

The prelate had announced the launch of "treaties to construct a church in Saudi Arabia where it is banned to practise whatever religion they want outside Islam".

El-Hachem estimated three to four million Christians in the Saudi kingdom who want to have a church.

A member of Saudi Arabia`s Consultative Council, Abdelaziz al-Thinani, rejected the prelate`s claims saying that there were no Christians among the Saudis who were all Muslims.

"Those few Christians do not reside in the country permanently, they come and go," he said.

He denied there were four million Christians in the kingdom and said the issue of human rights should not be used to call for the construction of a Christian church.

Most of Saudi Arabia`s Christians are foreign workers. There are 8.2 million foreign workers in a country of 25.6 million people according to a report by the Saudi Labour Ministry.

BRITAIN CAVES IN TO IRAN AND MUSLIM NATIONS

Britain caves into IRAN, Bangladesh and other muslim warnings and threats due to Manchester located -Live Leak website. Live Leak initially hosted Geert Wilders film- Fitna, but removed the movie today under muslim death threats. The British government says is worried about the movie creating safety concerns of British soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan - and "extremists" (don't use that banned phrase- muslim terrorists) targeting the soldiers. Don't these idiots believe that the brave British soldiers already KNOW about muslim violence and isn't that the reason the soldiers are in those countries to begin with?? What a load of cobblers!!!!!

Truth is Gordon Brown et al are being dhimmis to Iran and the other muslim nations. So much for free speech in the once "Great" Britain.

So just which countries does Britain's Foreign Secretary, David Miliband,  refer to when he expounds upon "European free speech":

"in each of our countries there are legal and judicial systems to ensure that freedom is not used to incite religious or racial hatred”.

- Is he condeming the muslim countries that are issuing threats of death and violence??? NO- David is pillorying our freedom of speech which is now equivalent to "inciting religious or racial hatred" - Again the question arises - just what nations are inciting hatred? - surely the answers are glaringly obvious.

Britain drawn into controversy over anti-Islam video by Geert Wilders

Dutch politician Geert Wilders

Geert Wilders, the MP who made the film, is under police protection because of his anti-Islamic views

Britain was dragged into the controversy over an anti-Islam film made by a far-Right Dutch MP after Iran condemned its appearance on a UK-based video-sharing website today.

“This heinous measure by a Dutch lawmaker and a British establishment... is indicative of the continuation of the evilness and deep vengeance such Western nationals have against Islam and Muslims,” Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

Mohammad Ali Hosseini, called on the Dutch, British and other EU governments to block any further showing of “this blasphemous, anti-Islamic and anti-cultural film”.

The 17-minute “documentary” by Geert Wilders had been broadcast on the internet with the aid of an organisation based in Britain, he said.

Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim nation, also condemned the film, titled Fitna, an Arabic word meaning “strife”, while Bangladesh warned it could have “grave consequences”.

A coalition of Jordanian media said it would sue Mr Wilders and urged Arab leaders meeting at a summit in Syria this weekend to review ties with the Netherlands and Denmark.

Governments in the Muslim world are wary of a repeat of what happened two years ago when the publication in Denmark of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad ignited rioting in a dozen countries, leading to about 50 deaths.

Mr Wilders’s film, which intersperses images of the September 11 attacks and other Islamist bombings with quotations from the Koran, was first posted on the website of his small right-wing Freedom Party on Thursday night.

It disappeared after a few minutes because of “technical difficulties” before becoming available in Dutch and English on LiveLeak, a Manchester-based website, raising fears that extremists could also target British interests. Some 4,000 British troops are serving in Iraq and a further 7,800 in Afghanistan.

The company running LiveLeak defended its decision to host the film. “Liveleak.com has a strict stance on remaining unbiased and allowing freedom of speech so far as the law and our rules allow,” it said in a statement posted online.

David Miliband, the Foreign Secretary, said “we hold fast and firm to European values of freedom of speech”. However, speaking in Slovenia where he was attending talks with his EU counterparts, he added that “in each of our countries there are legal and judicial systems to ensure that freedom is not used to incite religious or racial hatred”.

An Indonesian foreign ministry spokesman urged his country’s people not to “be incited” by the film which he said had “a racist flavour and is an insult to Islam, hidden under the cover of freedom of expression”.

Arab media were scathing about Mr Wilders today but reluctant to pay him attention and rise to what they saw as his baiting of the Muslim world. A senior editor at al-Jazeera said his influential television station had not given the controversy prominence.

“We don’t see a big story yet. The man [Mr Wilders] is a marginal, low-profile politician and he has even been criticised by Dutch politicians,” he told The Times.

Khaled al-Maeena, the editor of Arab News, an English language Saudi daily, said: “We should let barking dogs bark. This man [Mr Wilders] is an agent provocateur.” He added: “Our paper and the media here [in Saudi Arabia] are asking for calm and peace.”

AFTER RECEIVING MUSLIM DEATH THREATS - LIVE LEAK REMOVES FITNA

After receiving death threat to their staff, Live Leak has decided to remove the Geert Wilder's film, FITNA.

So - Muslims are outraged that a film says muslims are violent - and they respond with typical muslim threats of violence -------------------------------

Apparently the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki--moon, doesn't believe that muslims have any "social responsibility" to not issue threats of death and violence. And if indeed the violent muslims are a small minority, as he states, why are the GOVERNMENTS OF MUSLIM NATIONS worried that throngs of muslim people will riot and deaths will occur - worldwide?

Please see my next blog on the Britain's role in this situation.

Anti-Islamic Film Taken Offline Following Threats

LiveLeak.com said it removed the film Fitna from its servers after serious threats to its employees.

Fitna, an anti-Islamic film made by Dutch politician Geert Wilders that equates Islam with violence, debuted on Thursday at Web site LiveLeak.com, only to be taken down a day later following threats to LiveLeak's staff.

LiveLeak on Friday afternoon issued a statement explaining its decision: "Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some ill-informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, LiveLeak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove Fitna from our servers.

"This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else. We would like to thank the thousands of people, from all backgrounds and religions, who gave us their support. They realized LiveLeak.com is a vehicle for many opinions and not just for the support of one.

"Perhaps there is still hope that this situation may produce a discussion that could benefit and educate all of us as to how we can accept one another's culture. We stood for what we believe in, the ability to be heard, but in the end the price was too high."

Initial efforts to detail the film proved less successful. Network Solutions on Saturday suspended the Web site where Wilders had been planning to premiere the film, citing complaints about the then unseen film's content.

During the day that the film was available, it prompted widespread condemnation. On Friday, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon decried Fitna as hate speech.

"I condemn, in the strongest terms, the airing of Geert Wilders' offensively anti-Islamic film," said Ban in a statement. "There is no justification for hate speech or incitement to violence. The right of free expression is not at stake here. I acknowledge the efforts of the Government of the Netherlands to stop the broadcast of this film, and appeal for calm to those understandably offended by it. Freedom must always be accompanied by social responsibility."

Ban said that the real fault line is not between Muslim and Western nations but a minority of extremists eager to stir strife.

The Organization of The Islamic Conference also denounced the film as blasphemy. OIC Secretary General Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said, "The film is a deliberate act of discrimination against Muslims, incitement for hatred and an act defamation of religions which is solely intended to incite and provoke unrest and intolerance among people of different religious beliefs and to jeopardize world peace and stability."

In the day that Fitna played, it was viewed over 420,000 times. More than 280 comments were posted on LiveLeak.com. And many chose to reply through countervideos, which are still online.

The word "fitna" in Arabic means strife or conflict within a group.

The film may also generate a lawsuit. The BBC reports that Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, known for his cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed wearing a bomb-shaped turban, plans to sue Wilders for using his cartoon in the film without permission.
