Respect' and 'stabbed' have no more business being in the same sentence then 'honor' and 'killing'.

Quite right!

I too object to the hijacking of the great English language to (attempt to) justify the un-justifiable actions of (dis)"honour" murders etc.

Here is another word: "Martyr".
In English this means someone who was KILLED for their beliefs.
In Islamo-english it means someone who KILLS for their beliefs.

How about "Peace"?
In English if people live "in peace" with each other it means a "live and let live" attitude with no-one imposing their beliefs, attitudes, customs etc on anyone else.
In islamo-english living "in peace" means "living under Sharia Law", or at the least, living under Islamic domination.
