GIVE THEM AN INCH & THEY'LL TAKE A MILE

"Give them and inch and they'll take a mile" - never was this idiom more appropriate than when used to describe the muslim colonisation of the UK. 

Undoubtedly the often Saudi financed mosques that have sprouted up across England and now pierce the British skyline with their towering minarets are not embraced by the majority of British people. But the multicultural worshipping NuLabour government eager to become the Islamic center of Europe and its cohorts = the abetting EURABIA-ocrats have forced mosque building and/or building conversion upon the people. Any resistance to mosques or the continuous hoards of legal and illegal immigrant muslims is met by governments waterboarding the indigenous people with hyper political correctness and threats of racist shame -- opposers of mosque building have even received death threats.

So what has been the result? Why clearly more mosques - according to Inayat Bunglawala the Assistant Secretary-General at the Muslim Council of Britain- there are currently 1700 mosques in the UK for the 3% British muslim population.

Thus as mosques are quickly popping up like mushrooms those mosques, already in existence, are feeling their increased dominance by demanding that they be allowed to shriek their daily calls to prayer - the Leicester Couty council has allowed the call to prayer at limited times - so what has this dhimmitude wrought? - why now the selfish muslims want to lengthen the actual cacophonic call from two to three minutes long and delay the 8 o'clock at night call to 9:45PM - a time past most children's and many adult's bedtime. To make matters worse, this mosque's neighbors, get to be blasted by the call to prayer from other nearby mosques-- thus amplifying and lengthening the noisy chants. But don't expect muslims to be concerned about the kafir.

One wonders how the EU health and safety police can clamp down on the noise of the ancient and traditional muslical instruments - the bagpipes - citing the music played as hazardous to health and not ban the ear piercing, screeching muslim call to prayer.

The answer to this problem is to "nip it in the bud". This visual and audio muslim intrusion into the communties via muslim's requests to build more mosques and broadcast amplified calls to prayer must be met with a resounding "NO" - not backbending dhimmitude.

Britain has already given the inch........and the mile is up for the taking.

MOSQUE REQUEST MET WITH ANGER

An application to extend the hours of a mosque's call to prayer is being opposed by residents, who say it will be noisy and disruptive.

Some people living near Masjid Umar, in Evington Drive, Leicester, said extending the time from 8pm to 9.45pm would increase noise pollution.

The application also calls for the duration of the message to be extended from two minutes to three.

So far, about 20 people have sent in letters of objection to Leicester City Council.

One resident, of Evington Valley Road, said she enjoyed living in a mixed area, but did not think extending the call to prayer was a good idea.

She said: "I find the call to prayer particularly intrusive when I am outside.

"I feel that a fair balance has to be struck between the Muslim community and those of us who do not belong to the faith."

She said there were three calls a day from the mosque and she could also hear calls from two other mosques nearby. The call could be heard from Wakerley Road.

She said some residents had fled religious regimes and many did not want "overt" intrusion of religious practices.

Another resident, of Evington Drive, urged planning bosses to reject the application.

She said the noise would not be tolerated if it came from a private house.

She said: "I will write to object to permission being granted for any electronic call to prayer at the Masjid Umar and request that all such broadcasting should cease.

"It's an environmental nuisance. This is a residential area in which there are still non-Muslims to whom sensitivity seems to be lacking."

Another resident, from Bodnant Avenue, said: "We would strongly support the right of any group to encourage participation in its religious practice, but there should be a sense of equality."

Some residents have also complained the mosque has been breaking rules by broadcasting the call to prayer as late as 9.45pm.

However, Gulam Husain, the secretary of Masjid Umar, said the call to prayer had been made as late as 9.45pm in the summer months since 2002.

He said: "This is not something new we are asking for.

"We have had an informal agreement with the council to allow us to have the prayer announced up to 9.45pm at the latest in summer, provided that the noise meet compliance levels.

"The reason a formal application has been submitted is because the council is unable to trace its documentation."

He said the mosque had always worked with the community and would be willing to listen to its concerns.

A spokeswoman for the city council said the application would go to committee next month.

"Previous advice to the mosque had indicated that an extension can be considered," she said
